Ratana P. Dong is the firm’s Managing Partner.  She has extensive experience in tax, accounting, financial consulting, and business advisory services.  She has worked for global public accounting firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touché as well as for Fortune 100 and 500 companies, including Freddie Mac, the second-largest U.S. mortgage-financing company, and SRA International, a major IT consultant to the U.S. government. Her experience includes a broad range of industries, notably professional services, real estate, restaurants, oil and gas, retailing, and farming.

Ratana P. Dong is a graduate of Assumption University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She earned a 4.0 grade point average in accounting and is a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) in the State of Virginia.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), and Business Network International (BNI) in Northern Virginia.  Her broad financial background includes passing the licensing examinations for professional certifications in securities and insurance as well as real estate.

She is married to Francis H. Dong, a business executive, professor, and retired U.S. Army officer.  They have a daughter, Frances, and have been residents of Fairfax, Virginia since 1984.

Ratana is the President of the Parents and Teachers Association of the Thai Language and Culture School in Sterling, Virginia.  She also is a volunteer for Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Studies at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  Her interests include gardening, school and community activities, and professional events.
